Currently, we only have a character counter that is useful for estimating auto-translation costs, but it is not helpful for getting estimates for reviewers.

The goal of this task is to show the exact word and character count for each language.

It should only count the actual text that people read. It must exclude any technical IDs, XML tags, etc.
